Clothing:

In my experience, solid colours work best for portrait photography. This may be because they don't age as quickly as prints but also because they convert easily for black and white prints. Your favourite pair of jeans and a couple of tops should be sufficient.
If in doubt, rather bring too much than not enough.

Venue:

I am happy to travel to you for your session and have found that people are most relaxed in their own homes, especially babies and small children.

If you would prefer an alternative venue, like the local park etc, please just let me know and I would be happy to accommodate you.

Tip: Teenagers often feel and look comfortable in a more contemporary setting such as industrial areas.

Hair & Make-up:

Having your hair and make-up done before the session is a great way to relax and will allow you to feel at your best. Make-up should be kept fairly neutral so that you can manage both formal and relaxed images. Hair should also be easy to let down and alter depending on the mood. Most importantly though, it should make you feel great!!
